South Australia’s Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) 2022-23

The Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) of South Australia (SA) is open from 8 September 2022 for the program year 2022-23.

This program is dedicated to attracting high-quality business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs to better use South Australia’s economic opportunities.

The Business Innovation and Investment visa is available in four streams:

• Business Innovation Stream (188A)

High-quality applicants can create genuine opportunities for South Australia, so you might be invited to apply for a state nomination.

• Investor Stream (188B)

Each candidate’s application will be considered on its merits and the broader benefit, before assessing it for Subclass 188B.

• Significant Investor Stream (188C)

The assessors for Subclass 188C consider each candidate based on the merits of their application and how it will benefit South Australia.

• Entrepreneur Stream (188E)

Applicants must first be endorsed by an approved service provider before they can submit their application.

• Invest in the nation’s economy through high-quality investment.
• Increase employment in South Australia
• Inspire innovation to make South Africa more productive and competitive.
