If you want to move to Australia with your family, you’ll need to apply for a family visa. This type of visa allows you and your immediate family members to live and work in Australia.

The most common type is the Partner Visa, which allows the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen or permanent resident to live and work in the country. There are also visas available for children, parents, and other relatives. The family visa can be a great way to reunite families who have been separated by distance. Partner Visa Onshore

If you want to apply for a partner visa, you can do so onshore or offshore. If you are already in Australia, you can apply for the visa onshore.

Partner Visa Offshore

If you are applying for a visa from outside of Australia, you will need to do lodge an offshore application. This means that you will need to submit your application and all required documentation from overseas.

Aged Parent Visa – Subclass 804

The aged parent visa is a visa that allows an elderly parent to live with their child in Australia. The child must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and the parent must be aged 65 or over. The parent must also meet certain health and character requirements. The visa can be renewed indefinitely, as long as the parent continues to meet the eligibility criteria.

Contributory Parent Visa (Permanent)-Subclass 143

The contributory parent visa is a permanent visa that allows parents to live in Australia with their children. The visa holder must be sponsored by their child, who must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. The visa holder must also meet certain health and character requirements.

Contributory Parent Visa (Temporary) – Subclass 173

The contributory parent visa is a temporary visa that allows parents to live in Australia with their children. To be eligible for this visa, parents must have a child who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident. The visa lasts for two years, and parents must make a contribution to the Australian economy during that time. After the two years are up, parents can apply for a permanent residency visa.

Child Visa – Subclass 101

The subclass 101 child visa is for children who are outside Australia and are sponsored by a parent who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident. This visa allows the child to live in Australia with their parent. The parent must have sole responsibility for the child’s welfare. The child must be under 18 years of age and must not be married or in a de facto relationship.

Aged Dependent Relative Visa – Subclass 838

If you have an aged dependent relative who is a Australian citizen or permanent resident, you may be eligible for an aged dependent relative visa (subclass 838). This visa lets your relative live in Australia permanently. To be eligible, your relative must be: -aged 65 years or older -dependent on you for financial support -a single person with no dependent children.

Carer Visa

The carer visa is a type of visa that allows people to come to Australia to provide care for someone who is sick or has a disability. To be eligible for a carer visa, you must have an Australian citizen or permanent resident relative or friend who is willing to sponsor you.
