The Business visa Australia has two Subclasses:
What exactly are they?

Subclass 188 - Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa

This visa allows you to own and manage a business in Australia, conduct business and investment activity in Australia or undertake an entrepreneurial activity in Australia

Basic Eligibility

  • Submit expression of interest (EOI) in SkillSelect
  • Nominated by a State or Territory government agency or Austrade
  • Invited to apply for the visa

It is divided into following streams:

  • Business Innovation stream
  • Investor stream
  • Significant Investor stream
  • Business Innovation Extension stream
  • Significant Investor Extension stream
  • Entrepreneur stream

Subclass 888 - Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa

For entrepreneurs, investors and business owners to continue their activity in Australia.

Basic Eligibility

Hold a relevant stream of the subclass 188 visa or in relation to applications for a subclass 888 visa in the Business Innovation stream, hold a relevant stream of the subclass 188 visa, or a subclass 444 (Special Category) visa, or a subclass 457 (Business (Long Stay)) visa granted in certain circumstances.

It is divided into following streams:
